Montreal's best kept secret Overall Food Value Service Atmosphere Our first visit to Il Cortile was in the summer. I was amazed to find such a beautiful, flower filled terrace hidden away between these buildings. We had a wonderful time. The food was excellent, the service was attentive and the ambiance was incredible. We tell all our friends to go and they've all thanked us for the referal. We've been many times since and have always left very happy. It's a great way to spend an evening...and a great place to spot a celebrity or a hockey player. Like-Italy Experience Overall Food Value Service Atmosphere In summer you really feel like you are in Italy. Great courtyard terrace with flowers everywhere. It is more about the atmosphere than the food. Winter months there are a few table inside. Invitation led to Discovery Overall Food Value Service Atmosphere I was invited to Il Cortile by a friend of my wife's and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is a little hidden behind buildings, but well worth the discovery. The service was excellent and friendly, the food superb. The atmosphere was romantic since the restaurant was small and cozy. We had a delicious risotto with safran, spinach and scampi with an equally superb wine.
