A very lovely, open room, with Booths and tables. There is also a lounge area and large-screen T.V. Brick walls add to the look and feel. The Rack of BBQ Ribs was fall-off the bone tender and absolutely delicious. The service was above and beyond. The price is very reasonable. This will be one of my regulars stops.

As the others have written, Jaks is a great little restaurant with fresh food and generous portions. It might be a little out of the way but is worth the trip! The pizza is fabulous and so are the burgers. They also have a lot of healthy choices. Is a wonderful restaurant for families and can accomodate large groups.

I pass by this place often and decided to stop in and try it out. The place looks great inside, exposed bricks and very clean. I had a delicious burger and the fries were super. I saw some people eating these huge salads, I'm going to come again with my wife, she will love them. Friendly staff and not expensive at all. I think it is my new favourite place.

I've been to Jaks for breakfast, for lunch, and for dinner. The best, by far, is breakfast - with bottomless cups of good coffee (which isn't quite as good later in the day when they obviously don't sell/give away as much). But the BBQ chicken sandwich is terrific; the pasta is very good; the quesadilla was outstanding, and the waitress brought me a milder salsa than the one supplied. The service has been excellent any time I've been there, and of course I'll continue to return!

Can't help but worry, as it always seems quiet and nothing in that little spot on st-jaques ever seems to make it very long.

The service is excellent and courteous, and the food selection is simple but impressive with its portions and the taste; not once have we had a bad surprise. The insides are pretty generic: nothing bad or disturbing, just a nice, well stocked diner.

There'd been almost no advertising on what it is or serves, however, and it took us a while to even realise it had opened let alone try it. We were impressed, and everytime we go there, we hope it'll be open on the next time.

Great little restaurant in N.D.G. Stopped there on our way downtown for a show. Simple menu with a good selection, and surprisingly very nice inside (lots of booths). Biggest wings I've ever seen. My hamburger steak was very good and my girlfriends pasta was excellent. Good service and great prices. Probably half of what I would've had to pay downtown. I will definately be returning.

Had a great burger and my wife loved her bbq chicken sandwich. Super fries. I will go there again soon to sit on thier large terrace.

Loved, loved, loved the RIBS!!! Tender, juicy, fall of the bone delicious! Great fries, NOT greasy.
