Ok place in a hard to find alleyway Overall Food Value Service Atmosphere I would not consider this vegetarian, as they do serve meat pies. Service is a bit slow as one server for the whole place. Charged for a soda she never brought. Traditional Quebec meat pie was ok (1st one for me). Better prices than many of the other restaurants around there. Best Maple Syrup pie in the city!! Overall Food Value Service Atmosphere My husband and I travel to Old Quebec 3-4 times a year and always stay in the old city. And we never miss eating at La Nouvelle France. Their traditional Quebec fare is exceptional...my husband loves the caribou stew and the maple syrup pie is truly the best in Quebec. The restaurant is tucked in an alley where art is displayed for sale...worth the effort to find. Got Violently Sick . . Overall Food Value Service Atmosphere . . after eating the Tourtiere for dinner. Avoid this restauant at all costs. Great Dining Experience! Overall Food Value Service Atmosphere I was in Quebec City for about a week and ate in many restaurants in the Old Quebec area. I wanted vegetarian food one evening. I had the best vegetarian burger here that I've had anywhere in the world! Of course the menu was varied and other plates passing by presented well.
